最近，看過一篇文章，他們將一首英文歌「Bridge over Troubled Water」翻譯成中文，當中發覺歌曲所用的歌詞十分優美，既容易上口，又能在寫作時引用出來。所以想和大家在這裡分享一下。 |

從歌詞中可以學到什麼？
| (1) 用詞精煉 | 例如首句中，feeling small 可解作失去信心，而不一定用 lose confidence那末呆板﹔又如抹乾眼淚，我們可用 dry them all，安穩別人的心情時，可說 I will ease your mind。一般同學平日只知 "dry"及"ease"是形容詞而不知可以做動詞，從此可知聽歌可使我們的詞彙更多。 |
| (2) 善用慣用詞 | 寫一個人潦倒落泊，我們可以用 when you're down and out來表示，別人失落無靠，可用 when you're on the street; when evening falls hard作象徵；當你願意為朋友分擔困難，代表他們受苦時，你可以說 I'll take you part；全力助人，為朋友赴湯蹈火時，你可以用"like a bridge over troubled water, I will lay me down"。 |
| (3) 培養閱讀興趣 | 如果每首歌詞你均能用認真的態度研習之，把歌詞翻譯，掌握其意思及中心思想，那你考任何之(Comprehension)均可應付自如。最重要的，很多英文民歌，如 Sound of Silence, Today, Carry on Tomorrow等均可反映對人生的不同看法，考試前掌握之，寫作不同類型的文章均可借鏡、引用，甚至由評論某句歌詞作文章的開展，寫作時便有很大的益處。 |
